At VGHT we take great pride in our reputation for nothing being too much trouble. In these times of rising costs, particularly the dramatic increase in fuel costs, we feel it is more important than ever to make every journey count.

The following is a list of some of the extra services we are happy to supply. If you have a requirement that is not listed, please do get in touch, we’re a resourceful bunch and may well have a solution for you!

• We drive your horsebox – need a driver for your own horsebox to or from anywhere in Europe. Our drivers have Class 1 HGV, Driver CPC, UK and EU Type 2 certification and years of experience to enable them to take the very best care of your horses, belongings and vehicle.

• Loading/travelling practice in a vehicle of your choice (yours or ours) – we can help you and your horse gain in confidence to help you get to your destination on time and without stress.

• Accompanied journeys – New to travelling your own horses or got a new horsebox? We can accompany you on your maiden voyage to give advice on driving style, reversing etc or just for moral support.

• Transport for things other than horses – all of our vehicles have towbars and we are always being asked to move all sorts of equipment, belongings, vehicles, furniture, forage, you name it, we’ve probably moved it in conjunction with a horse move. Recent highlights include a piano, pet rabbits, a Land Rover and an entire kitchen including the kitchen sink.
